(Namibia) Security of fuel supply vital for economy says Katali – by Albertina Nakale

Katali made reference to Black Economic Empowerment (BEE) in the downstream industry. He said entry barriers to the industry are quite high and require, among others, huge amounts of investments. Katali said this makes it difficult for small operators and new entrants to access the industry. He called on both wholesalers and retailers to continue to promote BEE participation in the industry while waiting for TESEF.
